The Dark Knight from the Batman series of films has to be my favourite film. The superhero film was directed, produced and co-written by Christopher Nolan. The main character Bruce Wayne, who is Batman, was played by Christian Bale. The villain, The Joker was played by Heath Ledger. The film grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
